While all OBDS software is designed to work with any Windows®-compatible EFB hardware vendors for pre-bundled solutions, a few preferred vendors have demonstrated excellence in the application of their platform for EFB use.
Each aircraft's mission has specific size, performance, and economic considerations that you must evaluate as you shop for the ideal platform.
Note that OBDS does not guarantee the compliance or applicability of these devices to your specific needs, this information is presented here solely for your convenience.
Important Features for an EFB
Some key features that make cockpit suitable EFB hardware include -
- Clear, Daylight readable display
- Lighted buttons (if you need to access buttons)

When you shop, ask vendors how their hardware meets these requirements.
